Adrià Marín Salvador

Hi! My name is Adrià and I am a DPhil (PhD) student in Mathematics at the University of Oxford.

I studied the Oxford Masters in Mathematical Sciences supported by a laCaixa Postgraduate Fellowship Abroad. Before that, I completed a Double Degree in Mathematics and Physics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

I am broadly interested in Tensor Categories and Quantum Field Theories and my supervisors are Prof. André Henriques and Prof. Christopher Douglas.

I am developing a framework to treat semisimple tensor categories with continuously many simple objects: I've been calling them Continuous Tensor Categories. These conjecturally arise as symmetries of certain quantum systems and in the study of 2d Conformal Field Theories.
